Car, train collide Monday morning in Hampton

A northbound Canadian Pacific train hit a Honda Accord carrying a woman driver and young child passenger that was crossing the railroad tracks at 4th street and State Avenue in Hampton shortly before 10 a.m. Monday. The child was transported to Illini Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
